Ahhhh...I feel the need to write. I have been so preoccupied with trying to fix my email issues and dealing with a couple of headaches that pretty much knocked me out that I haven't really written anything for what seems like a long time. So today I am writing. But before that I have a few housekeeping issues to deal with. First of all a picture. For me and witty...
Now that makes me happy. It puts a smile on my face.
Ok...second. I am happy to announce the winner of the Name My Bongos competition. And I mean that in the "clean and decent" way. After reading all of the entries...and there were 21 of them...I have decided to go with the names Val and Liam as submitted by Mike S. I thought it was great to go with the name of an antidepressant for the bongos because that is exactly what they do for me. In moments of frustration, fear, sadness, or just when I'm down in the dumps I can play on the bongos and feel better almost instantly. So congratulations Mike! And thanks to all those who participated! It was fun, funny, and sometimes a little questionable, but I enjoyed it so!
And now I feel the need to start another post to do my actual writing. I would hate for this one to drag on...

HUGE smile! My vending machine!!
BTW, I found a great pizza from Mandola's here in Austin. The bad thing is it is right below my apartment and I will end up gaining 100 lbs if I am not careful.
Does walking down and back up 2 flights of stairs burn off enough of a small pizza so I can have it for lunch every day??
(Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes!!!!)
witty - i had pizza yesterday...it was ok. it was from anthony's pizza which is on the military base here. at least they put sauce on it. i still wasn't moved to ecstasy by the flavor, but it is better than any other pizza i've had here.
and well...i think it depends on how many times you go up and down those stairs! i say just eat the pizza if it is good. good pizza is worth the extra calories in my opinion!
Whoa..they have pizza in vending machines? Now I've seen everything. What can't they put in a vending machine?
nikki - i know. pizza vending machines. crazy! i can't imagine what can't be put in a vending machine after this. it reminds me of the jetsons cartoon...which might be showing my age. i loved that they could just press a button on a machine in their kitchen and it would dispense whatever kind of food they wanted. we are fast approaching that way of life i think!
Wow, thanks for picking the names I suggested. I'm honored!! They tried those vending machines in CA in the mid 70s but had too many problems. The Japanese had them for awhile until the pizza places undercut their prices so badly they went out of business. That was in the 80s:)
mike s - well your suggestions were the best! and as far as the pizza vending machines go...well i wouldn't think they would be that great. pizza in a vending machine...even though it says hot, fresh and healthy...makes me wonder. how good could it really be? any actual food i've ever had from a vending machine always left quite a bit to be desired. i would think pizza would be the same way. i would try it though. i would so try it!
