Oui Wee Wii
One of the things I enjoyed most in France was watching Mentanna play on her wii. I had heard of a wii, but I hadn't ever had the opportunity to see one. Quite hysterical I must say. I took several videos of Mentanna playing tennis; however, for one reason or another none can be viewed on the blog. Scott, Mentanna's husband, said that I should buy a wii and bring it back to Turkey. It would be the right voltage so we wouldn't need an adaptor. I thought about it and called Brian to see what he thought. He loved the idea. So as a souvenir from my trip I bought a wii plus a couple of extra games since they will be hard to find here. When the kids asked me what I brought them this morning I pulled it out. Erica and Will were especially excited. Will was so excited that he said he was going to cry...and then he did. I think it was because he was tired and missed me and then the happiness of a wii brought it out. Erica almost cried as well. Jacob and Anna Grace were excited, but enjoyed laughing at Will and Erica crying more than being excited about the wii. Here is a video I took of Brian playing the boxing game today. Again...it makes me laugh to see people making fools of themselves playing this game. I also boxed with Erica today, but nobody got that on video, thank goodness!

It looked like he was trying to kill a bug on the wall....I've wanted one too, but we've got to get rid of some 'other toys' before we can buy another one!! I hear some of the games really give you a workout!!
Practice up so we can have tournaments when you come to the states, but I have to warn you--Nathan's skill level is "pro" on almost all of the sports games.
way to go Brian! The first time I saw Sonny box, I thought I was going to wet my pants from laughing so hard! even funnier was the panting and sweating when the game was over!!

Yes, no offense to your husband but this is one of the funniest things I've seen in awhile. I have some friends that have one of these but I've never actually seen someone "in action". Hilarious. I was laughing out loud!
how come i can't see the video? and thank goodness you couldn't get the video of me to work!
MLG, I'm not sure why the video isn't working for you. It works fine for me. And see your email about why the videos weren't posted!
t, yes Brian hit the showers after his boxing match. Actually it was a combination of boxing, tennis, bowling, and who knows what else that made him sweaty. It is a good workout though. Everyone has sore muscles today from playing yesterday!
We couldn't tell if we were watching Tanya Harding beat up on Nancy Kerrigan or Sugar Ray Leonard having a sissy fight with Oscar de La Hoya!! Either way, we were very disappointed. We want our money back for Pay PreView!! We think we would have more enjoyment watching "Dancing with the Stars" with Danny Bonnavuce (sp?--the red-head from the Partridge Family) and Ralph Maccio!! (Tracey wrote these comments--no surprise)!! That was hysterical!!!
