Yesterday our friend, Lane Stricklin, passed away. Lane was an encouragement to all who knew him. Everyone who witnessed the way he and Deana faced his illness was blessed by the example of faith they exhibited. It was truly a gift from God to know him.
PS...Brian had the opportunity to play on the same softball team as Lane before we moved to Turkey. He said that Lane was the only guy on the team who didn't make fun of him...but that he probably wanted to.
