You both look younger this year. Is that weird for me to say? You look happy too. I hope that is encouraging because I know that you've been stressed out. You 2 are a beautiful couple!
How funny! I love that you two wore brown and blue both times. And this is something I didn't know...the Canadian thing. Or maybe I just forgot. I thought you were from the U.S. Or maybe you just celebrate with Canadian friends. Just as an aside, if my hair dried naturally like yours does I would NEVER blow dry it. Of course mine is stick straight so there's no chance of that! Mamadallama
I think you both look younger this year too. Au natural is good for your hair, then when it's straight, it's softer looking. You can't lose! Great couple!!!
headless mom - thanks! looking younger is a nice thing i'm thinking.
jozet - i never fix carrots! as in never ever. i made them last thanksgiving, once last week, then for this thanksgiving. 3 times in a year. i should totally make more and see what happens!
joe - when brian wears brown he says he feels like a big pile of poop. he wears brown a lot. i wonder what he is saying...
#2 - i cooked them in water with brown sugar and butter. when the water evaporated there was a glaze on the carrots. everyone said they tasted like sweet potatoes. we can't get sweet potatoes here so they were a great substitute!
mamadallama - i know. i didn't remember that brian wore blue last year. i remember what i wore, but didn't think anything of it until i looked at the two pictures together. and no, we aren't canadian...just have friends who are and invite us to help celebrate! i rarely wear my hair curly, but lately i've been quite lazy. my girls like it curly, but the boys say straight is better.
~m - they were yummy!
bejewell - awww...thanks!
becky - ok. next blog post...carrots. and peanut butter bars since it was requested by someone else!
pinki - thanks. i am glad so many people think i look younger. that totally works for me!
citizen of the world - i had to ask my husband what that meant. good one.
I'm Natalie. I was born in New Orleans and raised in Louisiana and Texas. I have a husband, Brian and four fabulous kids. We spent a few years working in Turkey (yes, the country), but we are currently back in Texas for a while.
