Are you kidding me?

Because making pancakes from scratch is way too hard.

And evidently using this

wasn't already easy enough. I mean having to measure out the water and then all that shaking. Too much.

So now they have this.

What is the point exactly?

You might as well buy this

and call it done.

(I'm feeling a little sassy...can you tell?)

Omg, great idea !! I love to cook but hate making pancakes for some odd reason.
How many do you get out of a can?
Wonder if you could just hold the tip to your mouth like we all do with the whip cream and squirt it right in,,,,no need to even cook them !!!!

Aerosol pancakes? Pure Genius.
Just don’t confuse the can w/your hair spray.

Did I mention I love bushes?

holy crappers - i make awesome pancakes so the thought of pancakes out of a can sounds kinda gross. and straight in the mouth...ewwww....

charlie girl - i know...i'm amazing that way. or moody...

heyjoe - well no worries there. i don't ever use hairspray...ever. and yes...i think i heard that somewhere.

Oh goodness. This is ridiculous. I mean...one of the nice things about pancakes is that they are so easy to make, but also give you the sense that you are actually cooking. What is with this need to make easier things easier? I'm not feeling it.

sparkliesunshine - i know. pancakes are so easy. and so much better homemade! after living overseas and having to make them from scratch my kids don't like them any other way! of course i have to make my syrup from scratch too...but i am all about the store bought syrup when we get back!

I WANT the batter Blaster and I want it NOW! NOW! NOW! That is awesome! I make tons of pancakes on the weekends to freeze so I can feed the kids during the week and send them into school with them or give them breakfast for dinner and the batter blaster would make my life a BREEZE!

:)

stella - you should be in luck! this is not a turkish product. i'm not sure if it is in all the stores now or not...check your local grocery store to see if they have it! then let me know!

um, i'm supposed to think this is a ridiculous idea, right? Like...that perhaps it's too much for us lazy people? only...i identify with lazy people. i resemble that remark. and i love pancakes. so i'll be buying this!

thewishfulwriter - well...i do think it is a ridiculous idea, but i might consider it if my kids would eat it. they have gotten picky though. so much has to be made from scratch here that they have gotten spoiled to it. and i have to admit that packaged stuff just doesn't taste as good to me as it used to.

LOL

I JUST bought this (and was working on a blog post about it as well)

I was totally and completely suckered at Costco. I mean, convenient AND organic? And with no functioning kitchen right now - how could I refuse?!

michele - did it work? was it good? i honestly can't even imagine!

Yes - they worked - they were on the fluffy side (all that air in the can) and the taste was fine. The best part was no clean up. They are great for us right now but I wouldn't buy them on a regular basis - mostly b/c I'm too cheap.
