Later

I'm not going to be posting for a bit. I know I said I had stuff to post from France, but truthfully I just can't at this point. My trip was an amazing experience, but when I got home I was hit hard with life. I knew it was going to happen...even expected it, but I didn't expect to feel so incapacitated. I don't know how long I will be gone. Don't worry though. I will be back. I just have to concentrate on breathing right now.

Yes, breathe. In. Out.

Overwhelmed, eh? Well, just tackle one thing at a time. One shelf, one surface, one whatever. I'm not sure if you're getting ready to pack or what exactly is overwhelming you, but you'll be ok. This site might help you: www.flylady.net. Her philosophy is you can do anything 5 or 10 minutes at a time. Especially helpful for those of us who get overwhelmed by the hugeness of some projects or even the everyday mundane things like laundry or other housekeeping chores. My life seriously changed after I caught on to her philosophy. My stress level dropped tremendously and it was so easy. Go ahead, deep breathe and I hope you feel better.

I am here.

It will be OK. I know that overwhelmed feeling... the important thing is not allowing yourself to disappear into it.

Be peaceful and breathe. The old saying, "this too shall pass," is always right.

You are loved.

I wish I could help you out. I'm great with laundry, cleaning and cooking. I could be your little 50's housewife! In return, I would ask that you buy me cute little dresses and flattering aprons. :)

In all seriousness, I hope that everyone pitches in and helps get everything back on track. Do what you need to do and take care, okay?

Take your time-we'll be here when you return. You have a lot on your plate right now, just take care of your 'stuff'.

After having your merry-go-round on 'screech speed' for months you MUST need to decompress. I thought I lived an active lifestyle at your age until I followed your summer activities! Glad I wasn't trying to keep pace with you, I hate being embarrassed.

A busy traveling period is like a good meal. You savor every bite again while lazing around waiting to be able to continue doing life's little things, like breathing normally.

As in the old saying, the only way for Pygmys to eat an elephant is one bite at a time. Rest well, I'll be back soon to savor all the posts & photos I've missed.

Do what you need to do!

That Flylady site is really good! I just wish it were shorter. It looks overwhelming at first.

Soemtimes we need a vacation after the vacation-to regroup.

Smiling Hello from Istanbul:)
Just come across your page when visiting the site about 'message in a bottle'. And, made me curious when I saw msg there from Turquie, wow!
Hope this note finds you in the best.

Ah yes, deep breaths. Remember what those are like? Me neither!

I agree about Flylady (I've been "flybaby" for about 2 years) - but the website IS overwhelming.

She has a great control journal for moving that would be a big help to you!
