I like the blue door best.
I share your obsession. Doors are such interesting things. They can be welcoming, forbidding, beckoning... I like red doors a lot.
I love the blue one too, for some reason. It's the simplest, but I like it best.
I'm trying to come up with a good knock-knock joke to go with your obsession.
Ok, I'm going to France just so I can take stylish and professional photos of my kids posing coolly in front of each of those doors. Or, I can steal them from you and Photoshop my kids in front of them. Muahaha...
I can't decide if I like the blue door or the green door best.
I love doors, too. My faves of my own are piics from Charleston, SC. My mom has some great ones from Greece and the So. of France.
I totally thought I was going to see pictures of bacon!!
Very Cool. Now, if you cropped them a bit more, and set them side by side, they'd make a cool poster!

I don't know what it is about doors, but I'm with you. I scrolled through them and ooohed and ahhhed pausing longest on the blue door.
charlie girl - the blue door is my favorite one too.
memarie lane - i agree. there were so many more i could have taken pictures of! the only red door i saw was on the castle wall.

walking with scissors - you totally have my permission to steal my pictures and photoshop your kids in front of them. i don't mind at all! i should send you pictures of us so you can photoshop us in the pictures. i took so many pics of stuff and very few of us!
penny - i liked the blue door, but i think i would have liked the green one if it was perfect in the picture. i wish i had stood right in front of it to take that picture.
headless mom - doors can be such interesting things for sure. so much to look at!
over-thinker - bacon! hahahahahaha. i should have taken pictures of the bacon. the problem with that is that we ate it way too fast for me to remember to get my camera!
tamara - i agree. i am messing with them some. i do wish i had taken them all straight on. i didn't think about it at the time though.
my family was ok...without power for several days, but no damage!

lynn - i couldn't get enough of them. i lagged behind on all the walking we did because i wanted to take pictures.
pinki - i'm glad you enjoyed them. the blue one is the best. i think i am going to print it and frame it. it moves me for some reason!

I love doors as well! There are truly some interesting doors in Europe.
I also love seeing a small, discreet doorway near a street. It's crazy to think that a person steps out of their door-onto this thriving street--everyday.
andrea - i know. it is so interesting to see doors in other countries. doors and streets and windows. pretty much everything about houses interests me.
I am also obsessed with doors & take pictures of them whenever we travel... too bad my own door is boring WHITE

Oh my gosh, these are wonderful! They would make a great display all framed and placed next to each other on a wall! Love it!
