and thought of you. I had forgotten about it but your pictures reminded me.

You may have already seen it, but the link is to NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day for 9/22 and It's a composite of the sun over Bursa, Turkey taken at hourly intervals on the 2007 Winter Solstice, the 2008 Vernal Equinox, and the 2008 Summer Solstice.
